Description of Best Vertical Multistage Pumps DL series
DL series are non-self-priming inline light weight vertical multistage pumps, the wet parts made of stainless steel grade SUS304 or SUS316L, it produced by advanced stamping and welding technology, the pumps equipped with standard motor. Because the inlet and outlet are located at same level, so it also called inline type pumps.
All pumps equipped with a maintenance free mechanical seal set, (also called cartridge type shaft seal), so it is easy to assemble and maintain.
The vertical multistage pumps with features of compact, light weight, low noise, long working life.

Vertical Multistage Pumps Structures
- The suction and discharge of the vertical multistage pumps located on a same axis. Three types of connections are available: flange, Victaulic and male threads.
- DL Pumps use easy-mounting mechanical seal, the maintenance is fast and easy.
- Outside case is based on cylindrical design. The outer barrel, back cover, bottom cover, and bracket are clamped together by the bolts.
- Inner case was series one by one and there is one impeller in every single diffuser.
- IMB14 or IMB5 standard motor is used on the pump, which is connected to the vertical pump shaft using a coupling.
Motor Requirements
Two-pole induction motor, aluminum alloy motor case:
- for power from 0.37 to 2.2kw, both single and three phase motor are available;
- for power more than 2.2kw, only three phase motor available.
- but all the motor meet following features:
a. Insulation class F;
b. Protection IP55;
c. Continuous duty.

Application of Vertical Multistage Pumps
The main application of our best vertical multistage pumps incluidng:
- Water supply: water filter and transport in water works, boosting of main pipeline, boosting in high-rise building.
- Industrial water pressure boosting: process flow water system, cleaning system, high-pressure washing system, firefighting system.

Vertical Multistage Pump Installation
To avoid damage of vertical multistage pumps, take the following actions before installing the vertical multistage pumps.
1. Check the pump and the motor are in good conditions before installation.
2. The arrow sign on the bottom cover indicates the pump’s discharge direction. (See Figure 4)
3. The pump can be installed vertically or horizontally. To provide the pump with good cooling condition, the pump must be installed in a place where is well ventilated.
4. In order to reduce noise and vibration as far as possible, always use flexible or soft hoses on the suction and discharge; Especially, the pump should be installed on a vibration proofed base.
Set a valve on the suction and discharge tubes separately, as a results, it will be better to provide convenience to pump maintenance.
Set non-return valves can protect the pump from damage by water hammer.
5. Prevent air came into pipes when installing the pipelines, particularly in the suctions pipeline, because air in the pipelines will reduce the performance.
6. When the discharge pipeline stretches downward for a long distance, or when there is a risk of siphonage, or to prevent dirty liquid from flowing back to the pump it is recommend to set a drain valve on the pipe that closes to the discharge port.
7. Electrical wirings must be done by specialized electricians according to the local electrical regulations. The pump must be earthed effectively.
Vertical Multistage Pumps Maintenance
1. Shut off the power before maintenance.
2. Maintenances of the splined shaft and shaft seal are not necessary.
3. When the pump remains inactive for a long period, pls check as following:
a. Firstly, remove one of the coupling guards;
b. Secondly, apply a few drops of silicone oil on the shaft seal to prevent it from being stuck when the pump is put in use again;
c. Finally drain the pump completely.
4. When the temperature of the transported liquid is lower than its freezing temperature, in order to provent the damage to pumps, you have to check the liquid is not frozen inside the pump before starting the pump.
5. During frost season, always drain the pump completely after using the pump, because the frozen of water inside the pumps will damage pump’s part, may result in the complete loss of whole pumps.
