Open Impeller Sewage Pump
WORKING PRINCIPLE:
The Open Impeller Sewage pump mounted on the end of the enclosed by a large circular chamber and a base plate with machined insert. The suction opening in the base plate is directly in contact with the fluid to be pumped. The rotation impeller transmits kinetic energy to the fluid which is centrifuged in the ring chamber, where part of the kinetic energy is transformed into pressure energy. The particular design of the impeller optimizes hydraulic efficiency, while allowing the pump to handle muddy fluids containing solids in suspension and short fibers without danger of clogging.
PUMP INSTALLATION AND APPLICATIONS:
It fitted with cast-iron or plastic single vane impellers, and are suitable for pumping liquids containing solids in suspension, including short fibers. The pumps particularly recommended for handing clean water or sewage, refulgent water, water mixed with mud, groundwater and surface water in areas such as: residential housing blocks, public buildings, multi-storey car parts, car washes etc. The pumps have the following features:
– exceptional sturdiness, even under severe working conditions;
– long and stable performance curves with particularly high efficiency level.
